PVC waterstop

PVC waterstops allow freshly poured structural concrete to flow around them. However, designs that include large congested ribs can create confined spaces and lead to a restriction in the concrete flow which could limit compaction and the interlocking process between the waterstop and the concrete.

Beware of ultra-flexible and relatively loose PVC waterstops which can be easily displaced upon pouring of fresh concrete.•PVC profiles are flexible, elongation >300%, but suitably firm (Shore Hardness between 80 - 90).
