Final finishing of the wall is the main concern of the client. External and internal walls required to be well leveled and finished in order to receive the final coat. Therefore, QCON offers plastering and mortar mounting block solutions with the best performance in terms of leveling, adhesion, resistance to climate conditions and finishing.

Once walls are plastered then they can be coated or tiled as per the project requirement.

Premixed Plasters

1. Substrate must be sound and clean. After the concrete has acquired its strength, all cracks and defects must be repaired.

2. Make sure that the joints between blocks are well filled

3. Wet the substrate before application.

4. Choose the proper plaster or rush coat (if needed) for each substrate.

5. Mix the rush coat powder with clean and cool water.

6. Apply rush coat (when/if needed) according to TDS and cure for 3 days, 3 to 4 times daily.

7. Allow to harden depending on site conditions

8. In case of dense concrete, the concrete should be washed one day prior to rush coat application. Directly before application remove dust and sprinkle the surface with cool water.

9. Install wire/fiber mesh on concrete-block joints, around openings and where needed.

10. Mix plaster with clean and cool water

11. Apply the plaster according to TDS and cure for 3 days, 3 to 4 times daily.

12. Protect from direct sun light and wind.

13. If thickness exceeds 20mm, apply on two coats
