Most commonly used for concrete repairs as:
They are physically compatible with the concrete in terms of:
- Thermal expansion
- UV resistance
Generally, they are easier to work with than epoxy products
Hand patch cosmetic repair mortars (up to 10mm)
The common use of the material are as follows:
- Repair of minor imperfection on the concrete surface.
- General re-profiling over large areas.
- Repair pinholes or blowholes prior to coating the concrete surface.
Epoxy Mortars
Epoxy mortars would generally be used in areas where the following properties are required;
- High chemical resistance
- High abrasion resistance
